CATHERINE HUTCHISON
Catherine comes with a diverse music industry knowledge and expertise spanning 30 years. Her career started in the 80’s managing acts such as Blue Ruin and learning the ropes at radio with EON FM / Triple M and as a promoter and booking agent for The Tote and various other Melbourne venues.
In 1991 she joined the team at PolyGram Records and spent ten years in sales and marketing with the company, which would become Universal Music.
Desiring a more independent role, Catherine left the labels to establish her own business, Studio Sessions Australia. managing and promoting Australian artists, recording studios and engineers including Doug Brady, and U.S record Producer Mike Wanchic (John Mellencamp guitarist/MD).
Catherine spent six years working alongside the late William May and Malcolm Cooke on the development, creation and launch of Australia’s largest touring export show “Walking with Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular” in Australia and the USA.
Much of her career also involved tour management and promotion for artists such as Christina Aguilera, John Mellencamp and Shania Twain.
Her current portfolio comprises the day to day management of: Michael Spiby, The Badloves, and King Canyon,.
JAMES RYAN
James has been an in-demand guitarist for over twenty years. He joined his first professional band at 16, when he also began teaching guitar.
In his early twenties James scored the gig with iconic Australian band Men At Work, and spent the next few years touring around extensively through the USA and South America. Once back home, he continued to perform with some of the world's biggest stars such as Robbie Williams, Ronan Keating, Olivia Newton-John and Shania Twain.
As for our home-grown talent, James has worked with many of our very best such as Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, Kate Ceberano and Ross Wilson.
James has also been a Music Industry product specialist for many years, and has been involved with some of the world leading companies including Fender, Roland, Boss, Seymour Duncan and Schecter.
Within the television industry, James has worked on Australia’s Got Talent, The X Factor, Dancing With The Stars and many other TV Specials.
As a talented and credible producer/songwriter, James has recorded three successful instrumental library albums for Fable Music Publishing and has had many of his songs licensed worldwide. He has also released two original guitar albums and has a growing online presence with over six million Youtube channel views.
